I love grocery stores, markets, speciality shops, you name it. Buying good food is important to me, and I’m constantly scrutinizing how I can do that well.

This is an ode to the wondrous privilege of having so many options for places to buy food, the delicacy of these systems, the importance of locality, and the heartwarming (and at the time this song was written, rare) feeling of seeing a friend at the grocery store.
